We all know that the WoW franchise is not something new. The first title was introduced to the public back in 2004. We can see that many make the mistake of believing that this is the first MMORPG title ever. The first one was Neverwinter Nights, which was released back in 1991. However, that doesn’t mean that WoW didn’t have a crucial influence on the genre’s popularity.
Before this title was released, the Warcraft franchise was widely perceived as the most innovative in the video game industry. The step towards MMORPG was just a cherry on top. Today, you can see there are hundreds of titles that were directly inspired by Blizzard’s product. Even though this is a title that has a serious tradition, it is not played only by those who are new to this whole concept.
Instead, many gamers of a new generation enjoy WoW very much. One of the extreme indications of this fact is that this franchise generates expansion packs to make the original content much more entertaining. However, not all the beginners out there have appropriate knowledge about this game. Because of that, we would like to talk about what are the easiest races and classes to choose from.
Without any doubt, let’s take a look at these.
Human Race
One of two original races in previous games, along with Orcs, the Human race is probably the most used ones, for obvious reasons. However, this doesn’t mean that people are aware of all the benefits this race can provide them with. We can see that this race offers a lot of different unique perks and possibilities to players who opt for starting as a Human.
If you are a complete beginner, you need to be aware of the fact that Humans are a part of Alliance, along with Gnomes, Night Elves, and Dwarves. Without any doubt, all other races we’ve talked about will provide some interesting spice to the way you play. Still, we believe that choosing a Human race is the best option for beginners. One of the details is that a lot of these perks will be performed on their own.
As you can see, it’s quite clear that you will not be required to invest an extra effort into performing these actions. As a beginner, chances are you will not have the right idea of how to do them for the first time. So, the benefit you can reap is simple to understand. That doesn’t mean that more experienced players will not decide to use this race, but we would be bold enough to say that it is an absolute must.
Orc Race
If you’re interested in being some sort of antagonist during this journey, you will need to choose a faction that’s a part of the Horde. For those who are not aware of which ones are a part of the Horde, you can choose to be an Orcs, Goblins, Undead, Trolls, and Blood Elves. Out of all of these, we believe that beginners should decide to use Orcs. We’ve said that this is one of two main ones.
Even though it may look like that making this decision doesn’t impact the overall journey, you will quickly see that this is the case. That’s why we believe that you will have the easiest character build if you choose Orcs. All other races come with a set of characteristics that will possibly be hard to know for those who are not completely aware of how this game should be played.
We would say that this choice is probably the easiest one within the game. If you take a look at every major list of this sort, you will see that Orcs as the easiest race to play with. As is the case with Humans, Orcs will perform a lot of crucial processes on their own. Besides that, beginners can always purchase boosts to overcome many challenges. If you want to take a look at one of these, take a look at WoW Boost.
Easiest Classes
Now, we would like to discuss the classes we believe are the best for beginners.
Warrior
The first class we would like to talk about is a Warrior class. Without any doubt, we are talking about a pretty straightforward one. Just think about it, if you use this one, you will need to look towards building the strength, damage, and armor. These factors are crucial for having a strong character that will have a positive impact both when playing solo or being a part of the crew that is about to go on a raid.
Naturally, you will also need to build a resistance to spells and other special sorts of damage other characters can have on you. For instance, fire or ice damage can cause you a lot of problems. So, having a character that can sustain a lot of harm and inflict a lot of it is a perfect combination for this class.
Paladin
Paladin is a somewhat complex class, but when you compare it to some other ones, you will see that it is much simpler than them. We are talking about a class similar to the previous one, but has a touch of magic. Those who are not sure about what this is, remember the character from Warcraft III, Prince Arthas, who inflicted a lot of damage, but could heal and protect both himself and others.
Basically, this character was used for creating Paladin class in WoW. Since you have a good role model, you will have a much easier time developing a hero that will be powerful enough to overcome any sort of challenge out there. Therefore, we believe that this is the easiest one, alongside Warrior.
Summary
You will certainly agree that playing WoW requires knowledge. However, that doesn’t mean that you can start simpler and build towards it. Here, you can take a look at classes and races that can help you with building a hero that will start simple and become quite strong in the future.
